The Greater Boise Aquatic Foundation is a recognized non-profit organization with a mission to provide opportunities for community members of all ages to participate in aquatic activities, including swim lessons, competitive swimming, water polo, fitness, therapy, and recreation.
The Foundation’s main goals consist of the following: (1) Build aquatic centers; (2) Provide financial assistance for participation in aquatic activities, including swim lessons, competitive swimming, water polo, and other areas of interest; (3) Conduct both noncompetitive and competitive events to further the development of aquatic skills and endeavors; and (4) Develop support for organizations that provide aquatic opportunities for the community.
We need community support to finalize construction of the Greater Boise Aquatic Center.
GBAF aims to ensure everyone has an opportunity to learn to swim (in need or otherwise) and participate in aquatic programming.
Hosting competitive events provides opportunities for community members to participate in sports and brings significant economic impact to the Treasure Valley.
We aim to develop community support for aquatic programming and to enhance the community's understanding of water safety.
